Boswell Safe and Vault Inc. has been involved in many aspects of the safe industry for over 25 years. We have had experience in manufacturing, retail sales as well as repairs, moving & installation. We meticulously inspect and refurbish all our used safes for sale and offer exceptional customer service so that you can get a dependable safe that meets your security needs.

We would be happy to guide you in identifying the most important qualities you should look for in a used or new safe. We can help you with the tough decisions, such as “Should I get a digital lock or a dial lock?”, “What rating of fire-protection do I need?” & “How big of a safe do I really need?” We will consider factors such as the types of items you wish to secure, your required level of protection, and the available installation space.

We also provide used gun safes to securely store firearms and ammunition. These safes come equipped with features like fire resistance, heavy-duty locks, and robust construction. Because used gun safes are cost-effective, purchasing one can give you access to higher quality, more durable models that might otherwise be out of your budget.

We have a comprehensive understanding of our inventory of used safes for sale because we work on them directly. All of the used safes that we have come through our shop are dissembled and thoroughly looked through for any issues by our certified safe technicians. Typically we replace the lock with a new unit to ensure no issues down the line. Safe bolt-works are lubricated as need and doors are checked for sage or excessive wear on hinge components. Buying a used safe will save you a significant amount of money compared to a new unit and will give you decades of trouble free service.

RETURN & WARRANTY POLICY: There is no warranty on used or refurbished safes although Boswell ensures the safes are delivered in good working condition at the time of delivery. No returns or exchanges on used or refurbished safes. Refunds will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Manufacturer warranty applies only to new parts installed.

Mosler Crane Hinge Vault Door – Restored and Ready to Install

This Mosler crane hinge vault door was removed from a closing bank branch in 2024. It was fully functional prior to removal and was being used daily up until the branch's closing. Our crew carefully removed the door, door frame, and surrounding trim with the intention of it being re-installed at a later date so we have all of the parts and pieces necessary to install it. Then it underwent a light restoration at our shop to bring it back to its former glory. We removed decades of oxidation and restored much of the door's original polished finish. The door handles have also been wrapped in leather to give it a classier look and feel. Most of the pictures in the listing are of the door after its restoration in our shop to show its current state and there are a couple of the door installed in its original location before we removed it to show the trim pieces and how they fit around the door once it’s completely installed. This door is ready to be installed locally or shipped anywhere. It will need to be installed either by us or by someone who has worked with these doors before. The door will need to be final adjusted once installed into the rough opening, the tolerances are VERY precise and the door's proper operation relies on it. This is something we can do if you have us install the door locally. The door mechanism and locks have been verified to function properly but need to be set up by a safe and vault technician once the door is installed.

Diebold TRTL-30X6 Ultra High Security Safe

One of the largest safes every produced with a TRTL-30X6 label. Primarily designed to protect cash, jewels, or other high cost valuables. Treasury Millennium Composite Body TRTL-30×6 Safe – Ultra High Security

These TRTL-30x6 rated safes are built to withstand even the most sophisticated attacks from both professional level tools and torches. With the recent shift in Jewelers Mutual's insurance requirements, almost all high end jewelers have been required to get safes of this caliber to retain their coverage. Considering what a similarly rated new safe costs (Compare to the ISM TRTL-30x6 ST683119 at $24,000), a used safe like this in good condition is very difficult to beat at this price. Used safes of this caliber and size are extremely uncommon and rarely change hands on the secondary market. This safe comes equipped with a factory installed dual lock configuration. This means you'll have to dial the combination as well as use the auxiliary key to open the safe. There is also a keyed internal locker to further separate secured goods.
