These TRTL-30x6 rated safes are built to withstand even the most sophisticated attacks from both professional level tools and torches. With the recent shift in Jewelers Mutual's insurance requirements, almost all high end jewelers have been required to get safes of this caliber to retain their coverage. This Mosler crane hinge vault door was removed from a closing bank branch in 2024. It was fully functional prior to removal and was being used daily up until the branch's closing. Our crew carefully removed the door, door frame, and surrounding trim with the intention of it being re-installed at a later date so we have all of the parts and pieces necessary to install it. Then it underwent a light restoration at our shop to bring it back to its former glory. We removed decades of oxidation and restored much of the door's original polished finish. The door handles have also been wrapped in leather to give it a classier look and feel. Most of the pictures in the listing are of the door after its restoration in our shop to show its current state and there are a couple of the door installed in its original location before we removed it to show the trim pieces and how they fit around the door once it’s completely installed. This door is ready to be installed locally or shipped anywhere. It will need to be installed either by us or by someone who has worked with these doors before. The door will need to be final adjusted once installed into the rough opening, the tolerances are VERY precise and the door's proper operation relies on it. This is something we can do if you have us install the door locally. The door mechanism and locks have been verified to function properly but need to be set up by a safe and vault technician once the door is installed.

This 1998 Liberty Washington 40 looks great for its age, the black paint is in very good condition. When it was built the Washington series was second only to the Presidential. The Washington has been replaced by the Lincoln in today's market. Older high end gun safes like this were built with a lot of steel for your money, even if the fire ratings don't quite compare to today's high end safes. Everything was verified to be in good working order before disassembly and the door has remained packaged up and stored indoors. This includes the full vault with all necessary panels, door frame, and vault door. This is a Class 1 Bank Vault, which is equivalent to a TL-30 rated safe. We offer full vault installation services and can install anywhere in CA, AZ, or NV. Price does not include freight or installation. For installation we need good forklift access to the space with at least 1 foot of open space above the vault to maneuver the ceiling panels into place.

These safes are the best of the best, far superior to any modern tool rated safe. They, quite literally, "don't make them like they used to." The Chatwood-Milner Monarch series of safes are oxyacetylene, explosive, and drill resistive. These safes were made in England and far surpassed any UL rating that existed in the US at the time, the nearest rating that exists would be a TRTL-30x6. Their incredibly unique design features a ONE PIECE cast body encasing a 2 inch thick solid layer of torch and drill resistant armor and a 7.5" thick door containing another 2 inch thick solid layer of armor with 2 & 7/8" total metal thickness in the door. This design was so brilliant and incredibly strong, it led Chubb to purchase Chatwood-Milner to acquire the rights to the design. Many safes produced by Chubb after the merger featured similar design concepts and some Chubb safes were even branded as Chatwood Milner but these pre-merger safes are the most desirable. We have fully refurbished these safes. All of their locks have been inspected and serviced by a certified expert safe & vault technician and they have been given a full factory-quality paintjob.
