This 1998 Liberty Washington 40 looks great for its age, the black paint is in very good condition. When it was built the Washington series was second only to the Presidential. The Washington has been replaced by the Lincoln in today's market. Older high end gun safes like this were built with a lot of steel for your money, even if the fire ratings don't quite compare to today's high end safes. You'd still be hard pressed to find a safe that looks this good, is this large, with this much steel for anywhere near this price.

This Mosler crane hinge vault door was removed from a closing bank branch in 2024. It was fully functional prior to removal and was being used daily up until the branch's closing. Our crew carefully removed the door, door frame, and surrounding trim with the intention of it being re-installed at a later date so we have all of the parts and pieces necessary to install it. Then it underwent a light restoration at our shop to bring it back to its former glory. We removed decades of oxidation and restored much of the door's original polished finish. The door handles have also been wrapped in leather to give it a classier look and feel. Most of the pictures in the listing are of the door after its restoration in our shop to show its current state and there are a couple of the door installed in its original location before we removed it to show the trim pieces and how they fit around the door once it’s completely installed. This door is ready to be installed locally or shipped anywhere. It will need to be installed either by us or by someone who has worked with these doors before. The door will need to be final adjusted once installed into the rough opening, the tolerances are VERY precise and the door's proper operation relies on it. This is something we can do if you have us install the door locally. The door mechanism and locks have been verified to function properly but need to be set up by a safe and vault technician once the door is installed.

Mutual safes are highly regarded in the commercial market and this one is no different, with a VERY impressive TL-30x6 UL security rating. A used composite body TL rated safe gives you all of the security measures that you get from the security rating, as well as the added benefit of fire protection from its concrete composite lining. This safe does not have an official fire tag present, but similarly built composite body TL safes are very rarely rated at anything below 2 hours. This makes used composite body TL-30's considerably more desirable, especially for our residential customers who are looking for ultra high security as well as fire protection.
