This gigantic Sportsman Steel safe is a great way to store a lot on a budget. Its interior is in good shape for its age and it has accommodations for approx 28 rifles in the center and plenty of shelf space for ammo, documents, or other valuables. It has a 5/16″ steel door and 1/4″ outer steel body, which make it very stout compared to anything else on the market near this size and price. There is no official fire rating tag due to its age, but our best guess would be approximately 1 hour of fire resistance given the body’s layer of insulation and the seal around the door.
